Weekend movie - 'Bridge to Terabithia'

Yesterday i watched 'Bridge to Terabithia'. I decided to watch it thinking it to be fantasy movie, but it was more than that. I really liked it, made me go in tears near climax.

A must watch movie.

Hmm really? I was thinking of giving it a past. The title sounds too odd for my liking. =P

It's a beautiful film and a lovely book.

I remember not liking the book for some reason or another. I think I might not have liked it because it was required. I should probably give it another chance.

Haven't seen it yet, or read the book, but I know several people for whom it's their favorite book.

@boneman - you are really fast in making things happen.

@little lamb - it is a good movie. you wont regret watching it.

To all - i havent described the story of the movie. The reason: for all of those who havnt seen the movie, i dont want to break the thrill. So long.

@the walking man - O my dear mark, you have let the cat out of the bag. I didnt give the details of the movie coz i feel that if u know about the story in advance, you would lose the thrill.

You are the first person I've heard from who has seen this. It looked a little strange in the previews, but that isn't unusual. Another rainy weekend coming up, so maybe that would be good to rent.

Sandy said...

@violetsky - o is it? i dont know but i really enjoyed the movie. sory in advance for all of those who have rented the movie and didnt find it appealing.

boneman said...

The 'appeal' of a movie...
ah yes. When I spoke of Kingdom of Heaven, some younger boys fiound it an exciting movie for the battles, while some elder gals felt it had a good theme and story. Sure, at least one Catholic felt it was a lie because she can't see that another religion would ever respect her religion (when she has no respect for the other religion at all) but, that's life, eh?
Not everyone will like it.
I have learned, though in a way, far too late.... but, when you see the brass ring in front of you GRAB IT!
(and be quick about it)

Who's to know if the movie isn't the 'brass ring' rolling along....

Sandy said...

@boneman - yes sir, thats why i asked for apologies in advance.

I found the book a lot better than the movie, In the class that I work in which was a grade 5 class, the students read the book first then we took them to see the movie. For the most part the kids really enjoyed the movie, and I'm not saying I didnt, but the book is much better...Mary
